Wildlife, Landscape and Architecture from all around Scotland.

About Me

I’m Stephen Crossan, a landscape and wildlife photographer based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. My work is inspired by the raw, untamed beauty of the Scottish outdoors, from the towering peaks of the Highlands to the quiet, windswept beaches of the northeast coast.

What started as a hobby, walking the hills with a camera in hand, soon became a lifelong pursuit to capture the atmosphere, mood, and fleeting moments that make the Scottish landscape so unique.

Whether I’m out before sunrise waiting for light to break over a loch, or lying in wait to photograph red deer, puffins, or ospreys, I aim to tell the story of Scotland’s wild places. My focus is on authenticity, capturing the stillness, power, and quiet drama of nature, just as it is.

My photography is a celebration of Scotland’s natural heritage. Through each image, I hope to share not just what I see, but what I feel when I’m out in the field: a sense of awe, connection, and deep respect for the land and wildlife around us.

Thanks for visiting—I invite you to explore the galleries, and if a particular scene speaks to you, I’d be delighted to help you bring it into your space through a print or custom piece.
